Deactivating Providers

Although you cannot delete a provider, you can deactivate a provider so the provider no longer appears in search results and throughout the system.

When you deactivate a provider:

  • All patients assigned to the provider are automatically reassigned to the company owner.
  • You must reschedule or move any appointments currently on the provider's schedule to another provider.
    You cannot deactivate a provider who is also a company owner.

To deactivate a provider:

  1. From the menu, select Resources and thenProvider Setup.
  2. Search for and select the provider you want to deactivate.
  3. Deselect the Active check box.
  4. Click Save.
