Deactivating Providers
Although you cannot delete a provider, you can deactivate a provider so the provider no longer appears in search results and throughout the system.
When you deactivate a provider:
- All patients assigned to the provider are automatically reassigned to the company owner.
- You must reschedule or move any appointments currently on the provider's schedule to another provider.You cannot deactivate a provider who is also a company owner.
To deactivate a provider:
- From the menu, select Resources and thenProvider Setup.
- Search for and select the provider you want to deactivate.
- Deselect the Active check box.
- Click Save.
