Setting Up Eyeglass Order Preferences

You can select whether to allow your staff to include frame modifier codes when they add frames to eyeglass orders. Including the modifier codes on orders can prevent claim denials and delays. It also makes it easy to indicate medically necessary frames when the patient's VSP plan allows for a frame change.

1. From the menu, select Preferences and then Material Orders.

2. Click Eyeglass Orders.

3. Select the Allow Frame Modifiers in Eyeglasses Order check box.
4. Click Save.
