Looking Up Contact Lenses in the Catalog

Use the Browse Contact Lenses screen to look up information about the contact lenses that are active for your company. You can enter information to search for contact lenses, or filter the lens list by selected criteria. The Contact Lens Details panel includes the receipt description, manufacturer, wearing schedule, lenses per box, supply period, and annual supply information for each lens.

The contact lens information displayed is dependent on the information given to Eyefinity by the supplier. Suppliers may provide incomplete information.

Looking Up Contact Lenses by Entering Lens Information

  1. Click Catalog in the blue menu bar, and select Contact Lenses.

    The Browse Contact Lenses screen opens.

  2. In the search field, enter the manufacturer, style, UPC, or item number for the contact len(es) you want to look up. You can enter partial information.

  3. Click Search.

    The list updates to display the contact lenses that match your criteria.

  4. Click the green down arrow next to a lens to display the Contact Lens Details panel.

To perform another search, click Clear and repeat steps 2 and 3.

Looking Up Contact Lenses by Selecting Filters

The options available for filtering are limited to those that apply to contact lenses currently active for your company

  1. Click Catalog in the blue menu bar, and select Contact Lenses.

    The Browse Contact Lenses screen opens.

  2. Select one or more filters from the left-side menu. Click the + to see the options for each filter. You do not have to make selections for all filters, but the more filters you select, the more specific your results will be.

    • Supplier — Select a contact lens supplier.

    • Lens Category — Select whether to display Hard/Custom lenses or Soft Lenses.

    • Manufacturer — Select a manufacturer.

    • Brand/Style — Select a brand/style. The Brand/Style filter is available only if you have selected a Manufacturer.

    • Base/Diameter — Select one or more base curve/diameter combinations. You can type a base curve/diameter to search for it.

    • Sphere — Select one or more sphere values. You can type a value to search for it.

    • Color — Select one or more colors. The Color filter is available only if you have selected a Brand/Style.

    The list updates to display contact lenses that match your filter criteria.

  3. Click the green down arrow next to a lens to display the Contact Lens Details panel

To perform another search, click Clear and repeat step 2.
