Looking Up Eyeglass Lenses in the Catalog

Use the Browse Eyeglass Lenses screen to look up information about the eyeglass lenses that are active for your company. You can enter information to search for lenses, or filter the lens list by selected criteria. The Eyeglass Lens Details panel includes the retail price per pair, type, material, style, color, and coating for each lens, along with the lens parameters. Customizable lens information is also provided.

Looking Up Eyeglass Lenses by Entering Lens Information

  1. Click Catalog in the blue menu bar, and select Eyeglass Lenses.

    The Browse Eyeglass Lenses screen opens.

  2. In the search field, enter the type, style, material, color, or coating for the lens(es) you want to look up. You can enter partial information.

  3. Click Search.

    The list updates to display the lenses that match your criteria.

  4. Click the green down arrow next to a lens to display the Eyeglass Lens Details panel.

To perform another search, click Clear and repeat steps 2 and 3.

Looking Up Eyeglass Lenses by Selecting Filters

Only lens options that are set up and active for your company display in the filter lists.

  1. Click Catalog in the blue menu bar, and select Eyeglass Lenses.

    The Browse Eyeglass Lenses screen opens.

  2. Select one or more filters from the left-side menu. Click the + to see the options for each filter. You do not have to make selections for all filters, but the more filters you select, the more specific your results will be.

    • Lens Type — Select a lens type.

    • Material — Select a material. The Material filter is available only if you have selected a Lens Type. Only materials compatible with the selected lens type(s) display.

    • Style — Select a lens style. The Style filter is available only if you have selected a Material. Only styles compatible with your previous filter selections display.

    • Color — Select one or more colors. The Color filter is available only if you have selected a Style. Only colors compatible with your previous filter selections display.

    • Coating — Select one or more coatings. Only coatings compatible with your previous filter selections display.

    The list updates to display lenses that match your filter criteria.

  3. Click the green down arrow next to a lens to display the Eyeglass Lens Details panel

To perform another search, click Clear and repeat step 2.
