Looking Up Insurance Plans in the Catalog

Use the Insurance Plan Lookup screen to view information about the insurance plans that are active for your company. The Plan Details panel includes carrier contact information, payer ID, plan type, coverage type, plan ID, and eligibility information. Also included are the plan's required number formats for insured IDs, authorizations, and groups; refer to this screen if you need to check that you are entering a patient's insurance information correctly elsewhere in the system.

  1. Click Catalog in the blue menu bar, and select Insurance Plans.

    The Insurance Plan Lookup screen opens and displays a list of all insurance plans set up for your company.

  2. Select the Carrier Name and Plan Name.

  3. The list updates to display all plans that match your search criteria. To access a carrier's website, click the link in the Website column.

  4. To see the Plan Details, click the green arrow to the left of the Plan Name.
