Printing Accessory Labels

The SATO barcode label printer requires barcodes to have an even number of digits. If a barcode has an odd number of digits, the printer appends a leading zero to the barcode. The scanner, however, doesn't recognize the barcode with the leading zero as the same barcode without the leading zero. To fix this problem, ensure the codes entered in the UPC or Product Code field contain an even number of digits.
  1. Click Inventory and select Product Inventory.
  2. Click the Labels tab.
  3. From the Select Item Type drop-down list, select Accessory.
  4. Select the Accessory and click Search.
  5. Under Step 1: Select the Accessory, select the check boxes next to the items you want to print, and click Add to Print Queue.

    The items are added to the list under Step 2: Print the Item(s).

  6. Record the Quantity of labels for each item.
  7. Click Print.
