Capturing Heidelberg Images

1. Ensure that ExamWRITER is open.
2. Create a blank exam, or open a saved exam for an existing patient.
3. In the ExamWRITER chart window, click the Interfaces icon.

4. Select the Heidelberg capture option. If you gave the equipment a nickname in the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window, that name appears in this list.

   The Heidelberg Eye Explorer window opens with the patient’s name and birth date preloaded from ExamWRITER.

5. Follow the Heidelberg instructions to capture the patient’s retinal images.
6. Click Exit Program to return to ExamWRITER.

   In the patient exam, the Heidelberg HRT icon appears on the Images - Drawings tab under the Images, Drawings and Graphics category bar.
