Setting Up the Humphrey HFA3 Interface

Before using the Humphrey HFA3 equipment interface, set up the Humphrey HFA3 interface in ExamWRITER.

1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

   The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

2. Click Add.
3. Select the Humphrey manufacturer and the Capture HFAIIi (Visual Field Analyser) device.
4. Click Add.

   The settings and options appear.

5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
6. Click Browse, and select the drive and shared folder (EMR or EMR Export) where the Humphrey HFA3 equipment data is written (Capture Folder).

   Do not select the OfficeMate\DATA\HFA3_Reports folder or any other folder in which other data is stored. If you select a folder that contains files, they will be deleted during the integration and data transfer process.

7. Record the serial number of the Humphrey HFA3 equipment.
• The serial number is listed in the OA Web License and on a sticker on the equipment.
• Omit the “I” in the serial number. For example, if your serial number is 123I-34432, enter 123-34432.
8. Click Save.
9. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
