Setting Up the Optos Interface

You must set up the Optos interface from the computer connected to the Optos equipment.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.
  4. Select the Optos manufacturer and the Capture or Review device for which you are setting up the interface:
    • Optos Capture sets up the capture equipment interface.
    • Optos Review sets up the review equipment interface for V2 Vantage.
    • Optos Review Advanced sets up the review equipment interface for OptosAdvance.
  5. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  6. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.

  7. Do one of the following:

    • For a Capture or Review device, click Browse, and select the full path to the application.

    • For OptosAdvance, copy and paste the OptosAdvance URL into the Optos Advanced URL field. (The URL can be http:// or https://, based on your configuration.)

  8. Click Save.
  9. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
