Setting Up the Vmax Vision PSF Refractor Interface

You must use ExamWRITER to interact with the Vmax Vision PSF Refractor.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the VMax manufacturer and the VMax Launch (Software Tool) device.
  4. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  6. Click Browse, and select the location of the export folder. The export folder can be any folder on your system that ExamWRITER and Visionix can access and that is not used by any other application.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Add.
  9. Select the VMax manufacturer and the VMax Capture (Software Tool) device.
  10. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  11. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  12. Click Browse, and select the location of the VMax Capture Folder configured in the Vmax Vision PSF Refractor Interface.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
