Setting Up the Zeiss CLARUS Interface

You must set up the Zeiss CLARUS interface from the computer connected to the Zeiss CLARUS equipment.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Zeiss manufacturer and the Capture Clarus 500 (Fundus Camera) device.
  4. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  6. Click Browse, and select the Auto Export Folder configured in the Zeiss software where the file will be saved.

    7. You must select an empty folder that is not used by any other application, including Zeiss CLARUS. If you select a folder that contains files, they will be deleted during the integration and data transfer process.

  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Add.
  9. Select the Zeiss manufacturer and the Reviewing Clarus 500 (Imaging) device.
  10. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  11. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  12. Click Save.
  13. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
