Setting Up the Zeiss VISUPAC Interface

You must use ExamWRITER to interact with the Zeiss VISUPAC.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Select the Zeiss manufacturer and one of the following devices:

    • Capture VISUPAC (Imaging)
    • Review VISUPAC (Imaging)
  4. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  6. (Capture VISUPAC only) Click Browse, and select the drive and folder (Exchange Folder) where the equipment data is stored.

    The file path to the Zeiss Capture VISUPAC equipment data is typically the EIS/HIS folder on your network drive.

    The file path to the Zeiss Review VISUPAC equipment data is typically the OMATE32/DATA/HIS or OfficeMate/DATA/HIS folder on your network drive.

    Ensure that the location you select is the same location that you selected in the Zeiss VISUPAC software settings

  7. Click Save.
  8. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
