Setting Up the Zeiss VISUCONSULT Interface

1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

   The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

2. Click Add.
3. Select the Zeiss manufacturer and the i.Com (Auto Phoropter) device.
4. Click Add.

   The settings and options appear.

5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.

6. Click Browse, and select the location on the network (CSV-Export Folder) where Zeiss temporarily saves the data file (for example, \\RF800170\iProfilerPlus\Exports).

   You must select a UNC or IP address path and not a mapped drive path. You must also select an empty folder on your network that is not used by any other application, including Zeiss. If you select a folder that contains files, they will be deleted during the integration and data transfer process.

7. From the File Extension drop-down list, select .csv.
8. Click Save.
9. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
