Capturing Canon Images

1. Ensure that ExamWRITER is open.
2. Create a blank exam, or open a saved exam for an existing patient.
3. In the ExamWRITER chart window, click the Interfaces icon.

4. Select the Canon capture option. If you gave the equipment a nickname in the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window, that name appears in this list.

   imageSPECTRUM opens with the patient’s last name, first name, and patient ID preloaded from ExamWRITER.

5. Follow the Canon equipment instructions to capture the patient’s retinal images.
6. Close imageSPECTRUM to return to ExamWRITER.

   In the patient exam, the Canon icon appears on the Images - Drawings tab under the Images, Drawings and Graphics category bar.
