Using the Haag-Streit Interface

1. Ensure that ExamWRITER is open.
2. Create a blank exam, or open a saved exam for an existing patient.
3. In the ExamWRITER chart window, click the Interfaces icon.

4. Select the Haag-Streit capture option. If you gave the equipment a nickname in the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window, that name appears in this list.

   EyeSuite opens with the patient’s last name, first name, patient ID, and date of birth preloaded from ExamWRITER.

   If the patient is not found in EyeSuite, select Yes to create a record in EyeSuite.

5. Follow the Haag-Streit Octopus equipment instructions to capture the patient’s perimetry measurements, and then click Done to export the perimetry reports to ExamWRITER.

   In the patient exam, the EyeSuite icon appears on the Images - Drawings tab under the Images, Drawings and Graphics category bar.
