Registering for ePrescribing

Follow the steps below to complete self-service registration and add users for ePrescribing.

You can add unlimited nonclinical staff, but if you reach your max user limit for providers, call support to add or deactivate provider users.

  1. On the OfficeMate Administration main window, click Setup, select ExamWRITER, and select DrFirst Setup.
  2. To register a practice, proceed to step 3. To manage users, proceed to step 4.
  3. Click Register Practice, select your location to populate location information, and click Submit.
    You must fill in Contact First Name, Contact Last Name, and Contact Email to submit. Only one location can be registered.
  4. Click Manage Users.
    Nonclinical staff can be added immediately, but providers can only be added once provider access is granted.
  5. Click Add User, fill in the form fields, and click Submit.
    Nonclinical staff do not have NPI or state license information, but providers mustrequired to fill out the NPI Number, State, and State License License Number fields in order to submit.
