Setting Up Patient-Specific Resources

You can set up and access patient-specific educational resources and links to disease management guidelines and associated material in the Reference and Guidelines window. The references you can construct include websites, programs, and documents that help patients keep up with the latest medical data available for their care.

  1. Print the patient’s report (press F4 from within the exam) to view a compilation of the patient’s reported diagnoses and to determine the relevant educational material for the patient.
  2. Click Tools on the main window and select Reference and Guidelines.
  3. To add a new reference, click New, and type a description and the website link.

    OR

    To modify a reference, double-click on a reference, and modify the Description and Link fields.

  4. Click Save.

To open the reference’s website link, select the reference and click Go.

You can double-click a row to edit the description or Link, double-click a row, edit the Description and Link fields, and click Save.
