Viewing Medication Allergies

Patient medication allergies are sent from ExamWRITER and populated in the ExamWRITER ePrescribing interface.

1. Open the ExamWRITER ePrescribing interface. For more information, see Opening the ExamWRITER ePrescribing Interface.
2. Perform one of the following tasks to view the allergies list for the patient:
   • View the Allergies section in the ExamWRITER ePrescribing interface.
   • Select Allergies from the  menu in the upper-left corner.

   If an allergy has a red pill warning icon next to it, it was entered by hand rather than selected from a list in ExamWRITER or it was sent from ExamWRITER with an unrecognizeable code. To correct the medication record, reselect the allergy from the list in ExamWRITER and detect drug-allergy reactions for the patient.
