Notifying Providers They Have Secure Messages
When providers logged into ExamWRITER have secure messages in the patient and provider portal, the Secure Messages item on the main menu bar of ExamWRITER turns green. The item remains green until the provider clicks it.
Clicking the Secure Messages item opens the patient and portal login page. After providers log in, their secure message page is displayed, and they can immediately access their waiting messages.
ExamWRITER checks for secure messages every 30 minutes. The interval timer restarts when a provider logs into or out of ExamWRITER.
