Calculating Commissions
To calculate commissions, perform the following steps:
- Open the Commission Calculation and Reporting window. For more information, see Opening the Commission Calculation and Reporting Window.
- Select Calculate Commission from the Action drop-down menu.
- Select a date range from which to calculate commissions:
- Select a range from the Span drop down menu and use the left and right arrows to advance the time period.
OR
- Enter beginning and ending dates in the date range fields.
Only fee slips paid in full during the date range are included in the commission calculation. Fee slips recorded but not paid are not included.
The Last Commission Date reflects the last day of business (the last day on which all locations have processed the End of Day) during the date range selected.
- Select a range from the Span drop down menu and use the left and right arrows to advance the time period.
- Limit commission calculations by selecting the regions you want to include, as needed:
- Click the Region tab.
- Double-click the regions listed in the Available column that you want to include in the calculations. The regions you double-click move to the Selected column.
- Limit commission calculations by selecting the locations you want to include, as needed:
- Click the Location tab.
- Double-click the locations listed in the Available column that you want to include in the calculations. The locations you double-click move to the Selected column.
- Limit commission calculations by selecting the providers you want to include, as needed:
- Click the Providers tab.
- Double-click the providers listed in the Available column that you want to include in the calculations. The providers you double-click move to the Selected column.
- Limit commission calculations by selecting the staff you want to include, as needed:
- Click the Staff tab.
- Double-click the staff listed in the Available column that you want to include in the calculations. The staff you double-click move to the Selected column.
- Click Calculate.
