Setting Up the CLX Interface

Contact CLX System to set up the CLX interface with OfficeMate. Your CLX System representative will guide you through the onboarding process and help you set up OfficeMate. Here's an overview of the process:

Contact CLX System

Call 314.995.9959 or email info@clxsystem.com to begin your onboarding process. CLX System will help you set up your soft contact lenses, employees, shipping methods, distributors, and other necessary items in CLX. During your onboarding process, your CLX System representative will assign your practice a unique account number and CLX URL.

Display the CLX Order Button in OfficeMate

Your CLX System representative will complete these steps for you. These steps must be completed on each computer using the CLX integration:

  1. In OfficeMate Administration, click Setup and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Misc. tab.
  3. Select the CLX Integration check box.
  4. Click OK.

    The CLX Order button will now be visible on the Soft Lens Order window, but it isn't yet active. Your CLX System representative will help you set up CLX as a vendor in OfficeMate.

Set Up CLX as a Vendor in OfficeMate

Your CLX System representative will complete these steps for you:

  1. In OfficeMate Administration, click Setup and select Vendor Maintenance.
  2. Click New.
  3. Type CLX in the Name 1 text box.
  4. Click the VSP Code drop-down and select Other.
  5. Select Contact Lens Manufacturer/Vendor from the Type drop-down menu.
  6. Type your CLX account number in the Account # text box.

    Your CLX account number is assigned to your practice by your CLX System representative during your onboarding process.

  7. Select the Contact Lenses check box.
  8. Click OK.
