Preparing for the OfficeMate VSP Interface
Before you can begin setting up OfficeMate to send VSP claims to Eyefinity, you must ensure that you have everything you need. If your practice has been using OfficeMate, you do not need to collect information already entered in the software.

The amount of time required to set up the VSP Interface depends on the number of products you have manually entered into OfficeMate. |
Continuous internet connection |
OfficeMate sends VSP claims and orders instantly. A continuous internet connection such as DSL, cable, or T1 is required to ensure your claims and orders are sent immediately. |
VSP User ID VSP Password |
Ensure that you have the User ID, Password, and Office ID for each location. If you do not have this information, contact Eyefinity Customer Care at 877.448.0707 or customercare@eyefinity.com. |
Location Tax ID |
Ensure that you have the Tax ID for each location. |
Location NPI Number |
Ensure that you have the NPI Number for each location. |
Provider’s social security number Provider’s EIN Provider’s NPI Scanned copy of the provider's signature |
Ensure that you have the social security number, EIN, and NPI for each provider. Scan a copy of the provider's signature and attach it to the provider's record in Resource Setup. |
A VSP remittance advice statement |
Ensure that you have a VSP remittance advice statement, which contains your account and contact information. |
