Turning the VSP Interface On or Off
You have the ability to easily turn the VSP interface on or off, depending on your needs. For example, you may need to turn the VSP interface off to prevent claims and orders from being sent while you initially set up your products.
To toggle the VSP interface on or off, click the VSP icon on OfficeMate Administration, select VSP Interface On/Off, and click Turn All On or Turn All Off.
- You will not be able to turn the VSP interface on until you have set up a VSP insurance carrier and plan in the Insurance Billing Initial Setup window or VSP Setup Assistant.
- While the VSP interface is turned off, your VSP claims appear in the Third Party Processing window as print-to-paper claims. You will need to enter these claims and lab orders manually into eyfinity.com. Additionally, you will not be able to pull eligibility and authorizations until the VSP interface is turned on.
