OfficeMate Enhancements
- The Lab Slip, Vision Savings Pass, Doctor Service, and Packing Slip reports are now produced in PDF format.
OfficeMate Fixed Issues
- We corrected an issue that sorted the Date of Service column in the ledger by MM/DD, but not also by YYYY. Now, the year is taken into consideration when sorting this column to provide a true timeline of patient visits.
- We fixed an issue that previously prevented the transmission of underlying conditions from Eyefinity EHR to OfficeMate
- Contact lens quantities sent from Eyefinity EHR to OfficeMate now populate correctly.
- Patient statements now reflect the proper Unapplied amount when transferring from Insurance to Patient. Previously, statements added the unapplied amount for every transfer if the Reason entered was different.
- We updated coding to allow popout alerts for patients with at least two no shows within the last 5 years to function correctly.
- We corrected a printing issue with the Internal Marketing report, which now prints 30 labels to a page for any printing method without any blank pages.
ExamWRITER Enhancements
- You can now document patient noncompliance with contact lens use, cleaning, and replacement schedule during an exam. We also added a lens disinfection selection to recommend for patient use based on their responses.
-
You can now download the Varilux XR and Unity Via Elite VR lenses from eyeglass lens lists.
-
The Ski Type Coating attribute is now available for Maui Jim lenses.
- We added new selections under Special Testing for Computerized Ophthalmic Imaging to allow you to autocode CPT code 92137 document equipment used, scan size, and any defects or other findings from your images.
ExamWRITER Fixed Issues
- We corrected SNOMED mapping to procedures codes to ensure they are correctly linked in CDAs.
- ExamWRITER now closes without error when Custom Text or any other text contains apostrophes.
- Users with 'ExamWRITER only' security permissions can now log into ExamWRITER. Previously, only users who also had OfficeMatepermissions could log into ExamWRITER.
Regulatory Enhancements
- We added patient health insurance information to the USCDI to comply with expanded data requirements.
Fixed Issues
- We improved the Help button functionality on the Maintenance Agreement window. Previously, the Knowledge Base article that launches when you click this button was sent to the background behind the OfficeMate application screen and Maintenance Agreement window. The article now launches to the foreground on your screen, allowing you to read it immediately and bypass bringing up a separate browser to view it.
ePrescribing Updates
- We added a new self-service functionality for you to complete onboarding for yourself or your staff team for ePrescribing.
-
When prescribing a liquid medication that is to be taken orally, the dispensed unit is now limited to 'mL.'
