Adding Notes to Appointments in Book View in AcuityLogic POS
You can add notes to all appointments. All notes added to appointments can also be viewed in the patient’s profile. For information on viewing notes in a patient’s profile, see Managing Patient Notes.
The color of the “N” in the Note icon indicates the following status:
- Blue: The appointment does not have any notes.
- Green: The appointment has at least one note, but does not have any notes marked as urgent or follow-up.
- Red: The appointment has at least one note marked as urgent or follow-up.
To add notes to appointments in Book View
- Open the Scheduler to Book View. See Opening the Scheduler in AcuityLogic POS.
- Perform one of the following tasks:
- If you are using the Manage Appointments view, click the Patient Notes icon () in the Actions column.
- If you are using the Schedule Appointment View, click the Notes link in the Notes column.
The Appointment Notes window opens and displays any existing notes.
If the patient has two or more appointments scheduled, only the notes added to the selected appointment display in the Appointment Notes window. To view the notes for another appointment, open the Appointment Notes window for that appointment. - Type a note in the Note Detail field, if needed.
- Select the Urgent or Followup check boxes, if needed.
- Click Save to close the window.
