Adding a Frame Collection

To add a frame collection

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Product, select Frames, and then select Collection.
  2. Click Add Frame Collection.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    Field NameDescription

    Collection Name

    The name of the collection.

    Vendor

    The vendor who sells the collection.

    Brand Type

    The type of brand (for example, Regular Brand, License Frames, and Private Label).

    This list is linked from Master Data Admin > Miscellaneous > Brand Type.

    View Order

    The order in which you want this attribute to appear in the drop-down list for Collection in AcuityLogic POS.

    If you type the same view order number for another collection, the options appear together in alphabetical order.

    If you enter 0, the option does not appear.

    Spex Collection

    If selected, specifies that the frame collection is part of the Spex collection.

    Supply Source

    The supply source. The options are

    • DC: If a frame is sold, a replenishment is created and added to the pick list for the distribution center.
    • DC if Available: If inventory reflects the quantity on hand, the frame is added to the pick list from the distribution center. If you have none on hand at the distribution center, it is added to a vendor picklist.
    • Vendor: Anything from the distribution center is ordered from the vendor.

    The drop-down list is linked from Master Data Admin > Miscellaneous > Item Supply Source.

    Financial Group

    The financial group assigned to the collection. See Maintaining Financial Groups.

    Assigning a financial group to a collection assigns the financial group to all frame styles in the collection and all the frames in those styles. For exceptions, update the financial group assigned to individual frames.

  4. Click Save.

    The collection appears in the table.

  5. To map collections to a specific company:
    1. Click the Map link for the collection.
    2. Select the check box in the Map column for each company you want to map.
    3. Click Save.
