Deactivating Billing Rules

You can deactivate billing rules by editing the end date of the rules. Although deactivated billing rules remain in AcuityLogic, they do not appear in search results when you enter the current date in the Effective on search criteria field.

To deactivate billing rules

1. Search for the billing rule you want to deactivate. See Searching for Billing Rules.
2. Click the Edit link for the billing rule you want to deactivate.
3. In the Edit Insurance Billing Rule window, type or select yesterday’s date in the End Date field.
4. Click Save.
