Editing Billing Rules
You can edit the existing billing rules for each insurance carrier or plan. AcuityLogic displays a message if you edit a billing rule that includes items, procedure codes, or modifiers that are inactive or no longer exist. You must select new items, procedure codes, or modifiers before you can edit and save these billing rules.
To edit billing rules
- Search for the billing rule you want to edit. See Searching for Billing Rules.
- Click the Edit link for the billing rule you want to edit.
- In the Edit Insurance Billing Rule window, update the fields for the billing rule.
- Click Save.
