Maintaining Diagnosis Codes
This topic explains how to control which diagnosis codes are available in AcuityLogic POS. You can maintain diagnosis codes in the Master Data Admin module and activate or deactivate the codes in the Types/References module. See Mapping Diagnosis Codes.
Most diagnosis codes that you need are preprogrammed in AcuityLogic Admin when you receive the AcuityLogic system. The diagnosis codes area in the Master Data Admin module enables you to add diagnosis codes or to deactivate diagnosis codes that your company does not use.
If you choose to participate in the EHR Incentive Program or the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), ensure that all of your diagnosis and PQRS codes are up-to-date and mapped correctly before you begin participating in those programs.
