Mapping Office Labs for the Eyefinity eLab Integration

You must map the labs set up for your company to the offices that you want to use with the Eyefinity eLab integration.

  • To send orders from AcuityLogic POS to a VSP lab, only the Is System Lab check box must be selected for the lab in the Lab window (Master Data Admin > Lab Search). If the lab is already set up in the Lab window to use as a VSP lab (Is VSP check box selected) and you want to use the same lab to send orders from AcuityLogic POS to a VSP lab, create a new lab with the same fields as the existing VSP lab, append the name of it with "Non-VSP", and ensure that you only select the Is System Lab check box. Additionally, select Eyefinity from the Lab System drop-down list in the Lab window.

To map office labs for the eLab integration

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Company and select Company Setup.
  2. In the Company Information window, click the Offices link for your company.
  3. In the Company Offices window, click the Labs link for the office that you want to set up the eLab integration.

    The Office lab window opens.

  4. Click Add Office Lab to map a new lab.

    OR

    Click Edit next to a lab to edit it.

  5. From the Lab drop-down list, select the lab for the eLab integration.
  6. Leave the Lab Account field blank.
  7. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the Eyefinity Code field to search for and select a lab in the Eyefinity Data Lookup window. After you select a lab, the correct code for the lab appears in the Eyefinity Code field.
    If necessary, click Refresh List in the Eyefinity Data Lookup window to update the list.
  8. Select the Send Order from POS check box.
  9. To add a new lab, click Insert.

    To update an existing lab, click Update.
