Setting Up Security for Billing Rules

You can control which users have access to the Insurance Billing Rules window used for setting up billing rules. Only users with full access to Admin or users assigned a security role with the billing rules access option can create and edit billing rules.

The billing rules access option can be set up only by using the Access by Role method for setting up security.

To set up the billing rules access option

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Company, and select Security.
  2. In the Security window, click the Access by Role link for your company.
  3. In the Access By Roles window, click the plus sign (+) next to the role you want to set up.
  4. Click Add Access Option.
  5. Select the following items:
    • Admin from the Module list
    • Company Setup from the Menu/Access Options list
    • Company Setup-Insurance Billing Rules from the Selection list
  6. Click Insert.
  7. Click Return to close the Access by Roles window.
