Exporting and Importing Daily Closing Details in AcuityLogic BackOffice

In AcuityLogic BackOffice, you can export daily closing details for multiple offices for a specified date range, update the deposit amounts and sales audit remarks, and import the updated information.

You can review daily closing details for individual offices from the Bank Reconciliation window. See Reviewing Daily Closing Details in AcuityLogic BackOffice.

To export and import daily closing details

  1. Click Accounting, select Bank Reconciliation Export/Import, and select Export.

    The Bank Reconciliation Export window opens.

  2. From the Select Office drop-down list, select the check boxes for the offices to include in the export.
  3. In the Business Date From and Business Date To fields, use the calendar icon to select the date range to include in the export.
  4. Click Generate Report.

  5. Click Export to CSV.

    AcuityLogic exports the details to a CSV file.

  6. Open the CSV file, update the information in the Deposit and Sales Audit Remarks columns, and save the file.
    Only entries in the Deposit and Sales Audit Remarks columns of the CSV file will be imported.
  7. Click Accounting, select Bank Reconciliation Export/Import, and select Import.

    The Bank Reconciliation Import window opens.

  8. Click Import and select the updated CSV file.

    AcuityLogic imports the file with the updated details.

  9. To make additional updates to the daily closing details, follow the process below:
    1. Click Edit next to a record.
    2. Update the amount in the Deposit field.
    3. Enter a comment in the Sales Audit Remarks field, if needed.
    4. Click Update.
  10. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Click Save to save your changes.
    • Click Save as Reviewed to save your changes and to mark the daily closing details as reviewed.
