Reviewing and Modifying Patient Information in Book View in AcuityLogic BackOffice

This topic explains how to review and modify information in the Profile and Insurance tabs in a patient’s profile in Book View of the AcuityLogic BackOffice Scheduler.

To review and modify patient information in Book View

  1. Open Book View. See To open Book View and search for availability.
  2. In the Patient column, click the patient's name.

    The Patient Profile window opens.

  3. Modify patient and insurance information if necessary.
  4. To scan a document into the patient’s profile:
    To conserve storage space, Eyefinity recommends that you scan the document by using your scanner’s lowest setting to create the smallest file size.
    1. Click Documents.
    2. Click Scan Document.
    3. In the Name field, enter a document name.
    4. Click Scan.
    5. Select a scanner source, and click Select.
    6. From the Output Type drop-down list, select an output type.
    7. Click Finish.
    8. From the Document Type drop-down list, select a document type.
    9. Click Save.
    10. Click the View Document link.

      The scanned document appears. You can also view the scanned document from the patient profile in AcuityLogic POS.

  5. To close the window, click Close Window.
