Maintaining the Global Configuration in AcuityLogic X-Link

The Global Configuration (or Environment Configuration) controls where AcuityLogic X-Link stores information and to which email addresses notifications are sent.

Eyefinity will set up the Global Configuration for you in AcuityLogic X-Link. You can modify the email notification settings if necessary.

For email notifications to be generated, your SMTP server must communication with the AcuityLogic X-Link server. Firewalls, antivirus programs, or other applications may prevent notification emails from being sent or may cause errors in integrations.

To update email notification settings

  1. Click Global Configuration.
  2. Click Edit.
    Do not change any information in the Working Directory, Archive Directory, or Batch Log Directory fields.
  3. In the SMTP Server field, enter the address of your SMTP server.
  4. In the Error Notification Email field, enter the email addresses to send all error notifications to.

    If you are adding multiple addresses, add a semicolon (;) between each address.

  5. In the File Received Notification Email field, enter the email addresses to send all file received notifications to.

    If you are adding multiple addresses, add a semicolon (;) between each address.

  6. Click Save.
