Restarting the HL7 Interface Service

If you are integrating with ExamWRITER, you have an HL7 interface that transfers data between AcuityLogic and ExamWRITER. If you have issues with the HL7 interface, such as data not transferring between AcuityLogic and ExamWRITER, ask your IT resource to complete the following procedure.

To restart the HL7 Interface Service

  1. Log in to your server.
  2. Click the Start Menu, click Control Panel, and double-click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Services.

    The Services window opens.

  4. Right-click X-Link Service, and select Start.
  5. Verify that data is now transferring correctly between AcuityLogic and ExamWRITER.
