Restarting the XIF Service in AcuityLogic X-Link
The XIF Service is the program on your server that runs AcuityLogic X-Link. If you see the following message in red on your Dashboard, your XIF Service has stopped: “Xif Service: Stopped.” If you see that message, ask your IT resource to complete the following procedure.
To restart the XIF Service
- Log in to your server.
- Click the Start Menu, click Control Panel, and double-click Administrative Tools.
- Double-click Services.
The Services window opens.
- Right-click Xby2 Integration Framework (XIF), and select Start.
- Log in to AcuityLogic X-Link to ensure that the XIF Service is running again.
The message “Xif Service: Running on...” appears in green.
