Restarting the XIF Service in AcuityLogic X-Link

The XIF Service is the program on your server that runs AcuityLogic X-Link. If you see the following message in red on your Dashboard, your XIF Service has stopped: “Xif Service: Stopped.” If you see that message, ask your IT resource to complete the following procedure.

To restart the XIF Service

  1. Log in to your server.
  2. Click the Start Menu, click Control Panel, and double-click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Services.

    The Services window opens.

  4. Right-click Xby2 Integration Framework (XIF), and select Start.
  5. Log in to AcuityLogic X-Link to ensure that the XIF Service is running again.

    The message “Xif Service: Running on...” appears in green.
