Adding a Contact Lens Manufacturer

For multitenant environments, the following setup can be performed only by administrators of the parent company and is required only for the parent company. The parent company setup applies to all companies.

To add a contact lens manufacturer

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Product, select Contact Lens, and then select Manufacturer.
  2. Click Add Contact Lens Manufacturer.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    Field NameDescription

    Manufacturer Number

    A three-character abbreviation for the manufacturer's name.

    Manufacturer Name

    The name of the manufacturer.

    View Order

    The order in which you want the manufacturer to appear in the Manufacturer drop-down list in AcuityLogic POS.

    Manufacturers with the same view order number appear together in alphabetical order.

    If you enter 0, the manufacturer does not appear in the list.

  4. Click Insert.
  5. To view the supplier mapped to the manufacturer, click Supplier Manufacturer in the manufacturer's row.
  6. To map a supplier to a manufacturer:
    1. In the Supplier Manufacturer window, click Map Manufacturer.
    2. From the Supplier drop-down list, select a supplier.
    3. Click Insert.
    4. Click Save.
