Adding a Contact Lens Color

For multitenant environments, the following setup can be performed only by administrators of the parent company and is required only for the parent company. The parent company setup applies to all companies.

To add a contact lens color

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Product, select Contact Lens, and then select Color.
  2. Click Add Contact Lens Color.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    Field NameDescription

    Color Code

    An abbreviation for the lens color.

    Color Description

    The lens color.

    View Order

    The order in which you want this color to appear in the Color drop-down list in AcuityLogic POS.

    Colors with the same view order number appear together in alphabetical order.

    If you enter 0, the color does not appear in the list.

    Is Multifocal

    If this check box is selected, the color is used to pass contact lens add power information through a contact lens integration.

    Supplier

    A mapping for the name that the supplier uses for the color. See steps 4–6.

  4. Click Insert.
  5. To view the supplier mapped to this contact lens color, click Supplier Color in the manufacturer's row.
  6. To map the color to a supplier:
    1. Click Map Color.
    2. From the Supplier drop-down list, select a supplier.
    3. In the Supplier Color field, enter a color.
    4. Click Insert.
    5. Click Save.
