Building Common Protocols

This topic contains recommendations for building several common protocols. If you don't know the steps for creating protocols, go to Creating and Editing Protocols before using the following charts.

The protocols below are separated into two categories: Eye Exam Protocols and Diagnosis Protocols. When applying protocols, apply only one eye exam protocol, and then pair it with one or more diagnosis protocols.

Eye Exam Protocols

Protocol Name Eye Exam Filters
Eye Exam, Dilated Dilated: ON
Discs: ON

Protocols are sorted alphabetically by default. If you want your Eye Exam Protocols to appear at the beginning of your list of protocols, consider entering a single punctuation mark such as "." or "_" before the protocol name.
