Editing Allergies
This topic explains how to record the details of the patient’s allergies and allergic reactions and how to mark the patient’s medication history as reviewed. The topic describes how
To add an allergy
- Open the patient’s Clipboard.
For more information on opening the Clipboard, go to Accessing the Clipboard.
- Click the Allergies button.
- In Allergy, enter the first few letters of the allergy name to search.
- Click the name of the allergy.
The allergy is added to the patient’s Clipboard, and a list of reactions appears.
- Select the check boxes for any reactions you want to document.
- Select the Allergy Details from the drop-down lists.
- Click Save.
To mark as no known drug allergies
- Open the patient’s Clipboard.

- Click the Allergies button.
- Click Mark No Known Drug Allergies.
- Click Save.
