Editing Implantable Devices

You can use the Implantable Devices screen to track any devices your patient has.

To add an implantable device

1. Open the patient’s Clipboard.

   For more information on opening the Clipboard, go to Accessing the Clipboard.

2. Click the Implantable Devices button.
3. Type the device's serial number or UDI code into the Device Lookup field.

4. Click Lookup UDI.

   If the code is valid, the device will be added automatically. You can toggle the device as being "active" or "inactive", and you can add information such as the date implanted, date removed, and any notes.

5. Click Save.
