Managing Visit Settings and Adding Notes
Notes are any types of information you want to record about the visit. Notes are summarized on the Visit Overview screen. This topic describes how
- Open a patient visit.

- Click the Manage link for the Visit Settings.
The Manage Visit Settings window opens.
- Select the primary provider for the visit.
To properly send charges to your practice management system, make sure the Primary Provider and Primary Biller are the same.

Make sure the patient is correctly labeled as "New" or "Established" under the Bill As section.
This will affect the CPT code generated at the end of the visit.
- Enter the remaining information for the visit.
Do not change the External PMS ID, Extermas PMS, and FIN Visit ID. Your practice management system completes these fields.
- Click Save.
- Open a patient visit.

- Tap the Manage Visit Settings button.
The Manage Visit Settings window opens.
- Tap Archive.
A confirmation window appears.
- Tap Yes, Confirm Archive.
The visit is archived.
- Open a patient visit.
For more information, go to Creating or Opening a Visit.
- Click the Additional Visit Notes button.
The Additional Visit Notes window opens.
- Enter the Note Title.
- Enter the Note Body.
- If the note is important and you want it to appear at the top of the visit note, select the Display content at the top of the visit note check box.
- Click Save.
The note is added to the visit note.
