Sending a Prescription Authorized with ePA

Once a prior authorization has been approved, you can send the medication order to the pharmacy.

To send a prescription authorized with ePA

1. Open the ePA Queue. For more information, go to Opening the ePA Queue.
2. Select the approved medication you want to send.
3. Click the ePrescribe Selected button on the action bar.
4. Select the pharmacy or click Find another pharmacy.

5. Click Send ePrescriptions.

   All ePA information is sent electronically to the pharmacy along with the prescribed medication.
