Turning Electronic Prior Authorization On or Off

To use Electronic Prior Authorization (ePA), you'll need to make sure it's enabled on both:

• the user level
• the practice level

For instructions on enabling ePrescribing as a user, see Enabling ePrescribing for a Provider.

Electronic Prior Authorization is turned on for your practice by default. If you want to disable ePA, you'll need to do so from within administration.

To turn Electronic Prior Authorization on or off for your practice

1. Log into Eyefinity EHR as a Firm Administrator.
2. Expand the Electronic Prior Authorization (ePA) section.
3. Click Manage ePA Settings.

4. Select whether you want this feature to be turned On or Off.

   You can also choose to enable this feature for All Providers or just Some Providers.
