Sending Final Prescriptions from the Visit Overview (Web)

You can send all final glasses and contact lens prescriptions from most pages in the Visit Overview just by tapping the Send Rx action bar button.

1. Open a patient visit. To learn how, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (Web).
2. Click the Integrations tab on the Action bar and click Send G&CL Rx.

Final prescriptions not previously sent are sent to the practice management system when the visit is finalized. To learn more, go to Finalizing Visits in the Detailed Visit Overview (Web)

You can send individual final and trial prescriptions to the practice management system manually. Here's how:

1. Navigate to the Vision Summary section or the Glasses and Contacts screen to view the prescription. To learn more, go to Viewing and Printing the Final Prescription in the Visit Overview (Web).
2. Click the Send Rx link that appears in the header of the prescription you wish to send.
