Assigning and Filtering by Visit Categories (Browser)

  • You can apply visit note categories to individual preliminary exams under Manage Visit Settings. These categories act like tags that enable you to filter and sort the exams listed within the patient's chart.
  • To assign categories to a visit

    1. Navigate to the visit overview.
    2. Locate the Visit Settings tile and click Manage.
    3. Click the Visit Note Category drop-down and select an appropriate category.
    4. When you're finished, click Save.

    To filter patient activity based on visit categories

    1. Navigate to the patient chart.
    2. Click Expand Filters at the top of the Patient Activity card.
    3. Click Category and select the category you wish to use as a filter
    4. Click Apply Filters.
