Canon Interface
Eyefinity EHR interacts with the Canon imageSPECTRUM software as follows:
- Before the capture process when patient information is transferred from Eyefinity EHR into imageSPECTRUM to create or update retinal images
- During the review process when new or existing Canon retinal images are available for on-screen review
You must install imageSPECTRUM on the computer to which the Canon equipment is connected.
The Canon interface saves retinal images to a shared folder, where Eyefinity EHR then accesses the images. You can review the images on all computers that have Eyefinity EHR and the Canon software installed and the Canon review interface enabled.
Network Connection Method
The Canon interface uses a USB cable to connect to the computer or Terminal Server.
