Reviewing Messages

The Configuration Manager retains the information, or messages, transmitted between OfficeMate and Eyefinity EHR according to your settings. Review messages to examine the specific information that is exchanged between OfficeMate and Eyefinity EHR.

  1. Open the Integration Manager.

    For more information, go to Opening the OfficeMate Integration Manager.

  2. Click the Message Viewer tab.
  3. Filter the messages using the following methods:
    • Select a transaction type from the Type Filter log drop-down menu.
    • Select a message status from the Status Filter drop-down menu.

      Status

      Notes

      Unknown

      The initial status of patient and schedule data from OfficeMate. These messages are almost immediately assigned another status.

      Received

      The exam data was received from Eyefinity EHR. The next stage is Processed or Error.

      Sent

      OfficeMate sent patient data to Eyefinity EHR. If the patient data can’t be sent, the status is Error.

      Processed

      The message received from Eyefinity EHR, processed, and entered into OfficeMate. The next stage is Acknowledged or Error.

      Acknowledged

      OfficeMate received and processed an exam from Eyefinity EHR and sent an acknowledgment to Eyefinity EHR. This is the last stage.

      Error

      The patient data could not be sent from OfficeMate to Eyefinity EHR or exam data from Eyefinity EHR could not be processed by OfficeMate.

      Unsent

      The patient data will be sent from OfficeMate to Eyefinity EHR at the next polling interval as specified on the Configuration tab.

    • Enter a word in the Search text box and click Update Search.
  4. Click the arrow buttons to view additional results.
  5. Click Export Logs to save the log as a CSV file.
