Managing Restricted Chart Exceptions on the iPad

You can manage who has access to a restricted chart by editing exceptions within the iPad app. The users or groups who appear as exceptions may access a restricted chart without providing a reason. You can only edit exceptions if the chart is already restricted. To learn more about restricting charts, go to Restricting High-Profile (VIP) Patient Charts.

Here's how to manage restricted chart exceptions in the iPad app:

1. Open the patient's chart.
2. Tap the More action bar icon and select Edit Patient.
3. Tap the Practice Data tab.
4. Swipe up until you see the Restricted Chart Exceptions section.
5. Enter the name of a user or group and tap Add.

   OR

   Tap Remove to delete a user or group from the exception list.

6. Tap Save and tap Done.
