Adding Free-Form Visit Notes in the Detailed Visit Overview (iPad)

You can add short free-form notes to a visit in the Detailed Visit Overview. These notes appear on the visit note PDF that patients and other providers may see. The note can appear at the top or at the bottom of the visit note PDF.

1. Open a patient visit. For more information, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (iPad).
2. Locate the Additional Visit Notes section in the right column and tap + Add Additional Visit Notes.

   The Additional Visit Notes window opens.

3. Enter the Note Body.
4. If the note is important and you want it to appear at the top of the visit note, tap the Display content at the top of the visit note toggle.
5. Tap Save.

   The note is added to the visit note.
